    BEGINNERS 5-WEEK Sessions

This class is especially designed for complete beginners. It is an excellent, structured way of getting to know the basics of Hatha Yoga. We will take you through the fundamentals of alignment and breathing which will come into immediate play in your everyday life. You will also learn and practice basic stretches, balancing poses, strengthening exercises and relaxation techniques.

You can begin to experience for yourself some of the benefits that can arise from practicing yoga such as increased flexibility, strength, cardiovascular and digestive health, as well as a sense of well-being and relaxed awareness.

Class sizes are limited so that you will receive lots of personal attention and can gain the skills and confidence to move into the ongoing classes when you are ready. Many students will take the beginners session over and over again for as long as they need to or want to before moving into the all-levels classes.

Next session Next session begins May 26 - Mondays 5:15 to 6:30 PM

    COST: $65 for 5-week session

    ANUSARA-INspired YOGA

Anusara Yoga, a style of hatha yoga founded by legendary teacher John Friend, combines precise physical alignments with a joyful connection to the heart. Through the Universal Principles of Alignment, balanced energetic action, and the power of intention, the practice of hatha yoga becomes a beautiful process of transformation and celebration. With a regular and dedicated practice, we can reconnect to our own true nature of equanimity, balance, sensitivity, courage, and harmony.

Anusara-Inspired Yoga Basics: This course introduces the basic postures of Anusara Yoga refined by alignments, actions and uplifting qualities of the heart. THAI YOGA MASSAGE

We all feel blocks and walls in our body when we practice yoga. We have pain, difficulty, and stuck spots. Thai Yoga Massage is a wonderful and profound way to work through these challenges with the help and support of an experienced therapist. Thai Yoga Massage is received fully clothed while lying on a futon pad or mat. This massage incorporates relaxing muscle compression with deep assisted stretches and gentle movements to lengthen tight muscles and open locked joints. During the session, a smooth, rocking motion and gentle breath-centered rhythm are employed to rock the body into a meditative state. Tyler Parsons, LMT, has extensive training in Chinese Medicine, Zen Shiatsu, and other deep bodywork and energy healing forms, which allows him to practice this work with a confident and supportive hand. His wide range of skills makes for a wonderfully individualized treatment each and every time.
